After looking at the net spend of all 20 Premier League clubs in the summer transfer window last week, we have moved our focus towards the biggest spenders across Europe.

Unsurprisingly, a number of English teams make the top 10, with the revenues from TV rights helping them to soften the impact caused by the global health crisis.

The actual total amount invested in transfers has gone down but, even so, all of the sides who made this list spent over £50m.
