It’s been known for quite some time that the three promoted clubs from last season are going straight back down.
Southampton seem to be competing to become the worst team in Premier League history. They need three more points to avoid the lowest total set by Derby County (11) in 2008.
Leicester have really been struggling under the management of Ruud van Nistelrooy, and the Dutchman is unlikely to remain at the King Power Stadium beyond the summer.
There is no doubt that Ipswich have put up a better fight, but they are still 5 points off safety.
