TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor believes Manchester City could score “three or four” goals versus Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

Reacting after the Gunners conceded three at home against Southampton, Agbonlahor said that Pep Guardiola’s side will cut through their opponent’s defence at the Etihad:

“I think that Man City will put three or four past this Arsenal team on Wednesday, I really do. He [Guardiola] will play Mahrez or Bernardo Silva on Zinchenko – Haaland will be in the changing room now saying, ‘guys I can’t wait to play against Holding and Gabriel’.”

There is no doubt that City will be strong favourites heading into the potential title decider later this week. Arsenal have had a minor wobble, having conceded seven goals during a run of three straight draws.

It is important that the reigning Premier League champions are not overconfident going into the match, though. Mikel Arteta’s team remain a major threat in the final third of the pitch, even if they are more vulnerable at the back.

A disciplined and professional performance is required from the Citizens and, if they do keep things tight defensively, you would back them, with the firepower they possess, to get the three points.
