The fact that the Hammers are ranked above Arsenal and other English clubs may surprise some but they have been strong in Europe in recent seasons.
David Moyes guided his team to the UEFA Conference League title in 2023 and they made it to the Europa League quarter-finals (where they lost to Bayer Leverkusen) last season.
West Ham are 16th in UEFA’s rankings, one place below Benfica and a place above Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
However, as they didn’t qualify for Europe last campaign, it means their position will start to drop soon enough.
