Bayern Look To Revive Deal For £145m Rated City Ace

Bayern Munich will look to reignite a move for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane in the January transfer window, according to reports in the UK.

The Bundesliga club are hoping that the Citizens will lower their £145m valuation now that the German international is sidelined due to a serious knee injury.

Sane will have just eighteen months left on his contract at the Eithad when the window reopens at the turn of the year, and it remains to be seen if the 23-year-old will sign a contract extension.

If he doesn’t, City will have a decision to make over whether to offload him within the next six to twelve months. However, for the time being, it appears the club’s position on the transfer has not changed.

Sane is a key first-team player who they hope will sign a new deal, but Bayern could make things complicated. The German side are said to be prepared to give the winger a sizeable salary increase on what he is currently earning at the Manchester club.
