‘Do It Now’ ‘What Are We Waiting For?’ City Fans React As Journalist Says Huge Move For 674 Goal Forward “Hasn’t Yet Been Ruled Out”

Manchester City are still weighing up whether to make an approach for Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, according to the Manchester Evening News journalist Simon Bajkowski.

The Citizens are still reeling from missing out on Tottenham’s Harry Kane, and while a bid for Ronaldo as an alternative is still thought to be unrealistic, Bajkowski claimed it is an option being looked at:

Supporters on Twitter are unsurprisingly very enthusiastic about the prospect of signing the Portuguese legend, who has scored an incredible 674 goals in his professional career:

It was reported earlier this week that Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes had offered the 36-year-old to City, but the Manchester club were not prepared to make an offer for the forward.

However, after Kane’s decision, some creative thinking will be needed to bring in a new forward ahead of deadline day. Could Ronaldo (a former United player) make the switch to the Etihad? Stranger things have happened.
