Manchester City winger Jayden Braaf has been in excellent form for the club’s Under 23s this season, but he is yet to break through into Pep Guardiola‘s first team.
The Dutchman has been compared to Jadon Sancho in some quarters, with his lightning pace and trickery on the ball, but there is a danger that the club could lose the teenager in a similar way to the England international, who departed for Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
RB Leipzig and a number of other Bundesliga sides are keeping tabs on Braaf, but fans on Twitter think that Guardiola should consider giving the 17-year-old more first-team opportunities:

Promote him. Next season do we don’t lose him. Give him the same treatment Foden had last season

Fantastic potential. Sad reporting that someone puts out that hes a bit of a diva. Just gets some fans jumping on the negative bandwagon whether true or not.
Hope he gets a chance in pre season as I feel working with Pep closely would benefit him enormously— Douglas Higginbottom (@Doug_mcfc) 8 February 2020
Baller but needs to sort out his attitude problems.

Sometimes a little selfish but a great talent. I’d like to see him training with the first team to get more polished

Still a prospect, hopefully he makes the cut.

Needs to be integrated into the first team asap

Braaf is certainly doing all he can to make an impression at youth level, having scored eight goals in 14 Premier League 2 matches. But, the lack of game time is said to be a concern for the player.
The Netherlands Under 18 international is reportedly keen on getting matches at senior level next season, and whether City will let him leave on loan, or whether he will be sold outright, we shall have to wait and see.
