City And Chelsea Set To Go Head To Head In Pursuit Of Two Russian Starlets

Manchester City and Chelsea are at the front of a very long queue to sign Dinamo Moscow pair Arsen Zakharyan and Konstantin Tyukavin, according to reports in England.

Everton, Leicester, Brighton and Brentford are also said to be scouting the two Russian teenagers, while three Spanish teams, two Dutch sides, three Italian clubs and over a dozen more in Germany are thought to be keen on signing the duo.

Zakharyan is the slightly younger of the two, but the 18-year-old has already been capped by Russia’s senior side on four occasions, despite only making his first-team debut at club level in November last year.

Tyukavin has just one cap for Russia but has managed six more senior appearances for Dinamo Moscow since the 19-year-old’s first game just over twelve months ago.

While Zakharyan is a central midfielder by trade, Tyukavin is a striker and he has been in impressive form so far this campaign, racking up six goals in 16 appearances.
