Manchester City have been scouting Inter Milan defender Federico Dimarco as they consider potential replacements for Joao Cancelo, according to reports in England.
The Italian, who has been capped eight times by his country, is a first-team regular for the Nerazzurri, having started 23 times in all competitions this season.
Dimarco has been linked with a switch to the Premier League before, having been identified as a target by Arsenal before they snapped up Oleksandr Zinchenko from City last summer.
The Inter star can play at left-back, wingback and centre-back, demonstrating the sort of flexibility that manager Pep Guardiola likes to see in his players.
The Citizens have struggled to replace Cancelo since his departure on loan for Bayern Munich last month. The Bundesliga side do have an option to sign the Portuguese international for €70m (£62m) at the end of the season but there has been speculation that he could still return to the Eithad, with the likes of Chelsea keeping tabs on his situation.
