Manchester City have dedicated their win over Watford on Tuesday night to the injured Gabriel Jesus, much to the delight of the fans.
City ran out 3-1 winners over Marco Silva’s side to extend their lead at the table of the Premier League table to a brilliant 15 points.
Man of the moment Raheem Sterling opened the scoring with barely a minute gone – his 18th of the season in all competitions – before a Christian Kabasele own goal doubled the hosts advantage just over ten minutes later.
Sergio Aguero added a third and his 16th of the campaign just past the hour mark, before Andre Gray pulled back a late consolation goal for the Hornets to deny goalkeeper Ederson a clean sheet.
Following the victory, Man City dedicated the win to the recently injured Jesus via their official Twitter account.

Jesus has been ruled up for up to two months following an injury sustained in the 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace. The 20-year-old Brazilian striker went off in tears during the first half, and a scan later revealed he had suffered medial collateral ligament injury.
Pep Guardiola confirmed the news, saying: “He [Jesus] will be out between four and six weeks – a little bit longer, I don’t know – but between one month and two months.”
The Brazil international – who was on the sidelines for the game on Tuesday evening – will be a sorely missed figure in the coming weeks, having scored 10 goals this season.
