Anthony Gordon

The fourth-fastest player in the Premier League last season was Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon, who clocked a maximum sprint speed of 36.61kmph.

For all his quickness, Gordon ultimately failed to impress for both Everton and Newcastle last season. He became unpopular with Everton supporters towards the end of his Toffees spell and did little to redeem himself at St. James’ Park.

Brennan Johnson

This may be a surprise inclusion for some – but anyone who watched Brennan Johnson last season will know exactly how explosive his pace is.

According to TalkSPORT, Johnson’s top sprint speed last season clocked in at an impressive 36.7kmph, just ahead of Mudryk in third place.

He was one of Nottingham Forest’s saving graces last season, as Steve Cooper’s men had to battle valiantly in order to avoid relegation – he scored eight goals in 38 league games.

Kyle Walker

Kyle Walker has always been known for his blistering pace – it has gotten him out of jail on countless occasions. Nevertheless, it speaks volumes that he has been able to maintain it this late in his career.

Walker was statistically the fastest player in the Premier League last season, despite being 33 years of age – his maximum sprint speed was recorded at 37.31kmph.

Last season was undoubtedly the greatest in Walker’s career, as he played a major role in guiding Manchester City to an historic treble.
