Willian Names The Premier League Club Which Is The “Best Team In The World”

Fulham winger Willian has been full of praise for Manchester City ahead of the clash between the two clubs this weekend.

The former Chelsea and Arsenal player says that there isn’t a better team in world football than Pep Guardiola’s side at the moment:

“It’s always good to play against the big teams, especially City who are – for me – the best team in the world. It’s going to be a difficult one for us, of course, but it’s always a pleasure to play these kinds of games, for sure.”

“To beat them, you need to be perfect. In every moment of the game, in every aspect of the game. If you sleep for five seconds, they can kill us. I think it will be a great game to play.”

“We respect them a lot, as I said they’re the best team in the world, but we cannot be afraid to play against them. We need to go there Saturday and try our best to win the game. We have examples – we played against two big teams and beat them at home. And now we have another opportunity to do the same. Of course, it will be a tough one, a tough game to play, but I think together we can do something special.”

City’s past record at Craven Cottage

The Premier League champions have an incredible record against the Cottagers. They haven’t even dropped a point since 2011 when they drew 2-2 away from home.

On their last three visits to Craven Cottage, Guardiola’s men have won 2-0, 3-0 and 2-1.

A win puts big pressure on their title rivals

For the first time in a long time, the Cityzens are not having to play catch up on Arsenal. If they beat Fulham on Saturday afternoon, they will go two points clear at the top of the table.

The Gunners will have to respond when they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford a day later.
