David Seaman Makes “Honest” Admission On Whether City Will Lose The Title To Arsenal

Arsenal legend David Seaman says he can’t see Manchester City dropping points in their final three fixtures.

Due to their better goal difference, the Gunners could still finish top if the reigning champions draw just one match before the end of the campaign but, speaking on the Seaman Says podcast, the former England international said:

“No, [I can’t see it going down to goal difference], if I’m honest. I can’t see Man City not winning every game, that’s my only problem.”

“The only hard game that I see that they’ve got is Spurs away, and the form that Spurs are in at the moment is like Man United.”

Who do City play in their final three league matches?

Pep Guardiola‘s side take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday lunchtime before they travel to face Tottenham next Tuesday.

City then play at home in their final fixture, hosting West Ham at the Etihad on Sunday week. As Seaman mentions, the Spurs game does appear to be the toughest left to navigate but no match is easy at this stage of the season.

Who do Arsenal have left to play?

With City having a game in hand, the Gunners only have two fixtures remaining, and both would be classed as winnable. Many would regard the Manchester United match on Sunday at Old Trafford as the most difficult.

However, the Red Devils are reeling from a 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace and they are in the midst of an injury crisis. City fans may not be able to rely on their rivals taking points off Mikel Arteta’s men.

Like City, the Gunners do finish their campaign at home, with Everton making the trip to the Emirates. The Toffees have secured their top-flight status so you do have to wonder whether they will be up for the game.
