Manchester City are one of four Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount’s contract situation, according to reports in the English media.
Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United are also tracking developments with Mount having yet to sign an extension despite closing in on the final year of his current deal.
When asked whether City should consider snapping up Mount, the vast majority of fans on Twitter were very much against the idea:

Mount is said to be demanding parity with Chelsea’s highest earners, who are Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly. Both take home around £300,000 a week.
Considering Mount’s poor form this season, it’s not surprising that the Blues are reluctant to pay up, and you can’t see City giving in to those demands either. This is certainly one to keep an eye on but it would be a surprise if the England international ended up moving to the Etihad.
