Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is determined to make the switch back to Germany before the start of next season, according to reports in the UK.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, and with the player seemingly running down his contract, the Citizens will have a decision to make on his future this summer.
Sane is apparently certain that the two clubs will come to an agreement over a transfer fee, but supporters on Twitter are not so certain:
Only if they pay what he is worth

80 + million then he can go , otherwise keep him then he goes on a free , can't see why he wants to leave but if he's got wrong attitude then he can go when his contract ends

I assume around 80m will do, hes 95% gone unless Bayern just refuse to pay, then he’s gone next summer

Off you go then won’t miss you

Think Pep is happy either way. Doesn’t suit the system when the other lot play 10 men deep as there isn’t space behind, good option though for the CL games especially. But good luck to him if he moves on, good player.

City aint going to sell for less than 100m

Would be extremely disappointed to see City sell this player to Bayern, given their conduct & the way they have consistently bad-mouthed our club. Sell him to Juve, Real or Barc for £50M, burn the contract down if necessary – but do not directly sell him to them #mcfc

Bayern’s behaviour in their pursuit of the German international has been heavily criticised, with numerous officials from the Bundesliga side having publicly stated that the club want to sign the player.
It has led to claims that City could refuse to sell Sane and may even consider allowing the player to leave on a free transfer next year, rather than selling to Bayern for a knockdown price.
