Premier League Will Allow Home Fans To Attend Games In The Final TWO Rounds Of Fixtures

The Premier League have decided to change the match schedule in order to ensure the final two rounds of fixtures will be played in front of crowds, according to reports in England.

The UK Government’s restrictions on outdoor events will lift on May 17th, which meant only the last game of the season, on May 23rd, would have been open to fans.

However, the Premier League have moved the penultimate round of matches to midweek (May 18th and May 19th) so supporters can attend the games.

Only a maximum of 10,000 supporters will be allowed into stadiums for these fixtures, or a quarter of the capacity if the ground can’t hold that many people. Away fans will not be permitted to attend, though.

It is believed fixtures will also be swapped to ensure that all 20 Premier League clubs have at least one match at home in the last two rounds of games.
