Mansour is the deputy PM of the United Arab Emirates but he is also the founder of the Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment, which bought the Citizens in 2008.

Since then, Mansour has invested heavily into the Manchester club, winning numerous domestic trophies in the process. The City Football Group, run by Mansour, now has 10 teams under its umbrella.
