Manchester City have joined Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter Milan in the battle to sign Fenerbahce attacking midfielder Omer Beyaz, according to reports in the Turkish media.

The 16-year-old’s contract with the Yellow Canaries expires at the end of next season, but if he doesn’t sign a new deal they could be forced to offload him.

Beyaz and his representatives are demanding that the teenager be guaranteed game time by Fenerbahce, but the two sides are struggling to come to an agreement, with the player said to be moving towards leaving the Turkish club.

The starlet has not played a senior game yet, but he was named in the matchday squad for the first time as Fenerbahce drew 2-2 against Denizlispor last weekend.

Beyaz was once again an unused substitute as the Super Lig side lost 1-0 to Konyaspor yesterday, and no doubt scouts from City and a host of other teams will be keeping a close eye on the player if he does make his first-team debut.
