Bayern Munich will include defender Lucas Hernandez in a part-exchange offer to sign Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, according to reports in Germany.
The Frenchman only moved from Atletico Madrid for €80m last summer and supporters on Twitter think the World Cup winner would be a good addition to the squad:
That's an attractive offer

Not a bad deal. Will put up more competition for Mendy and Zincheko. I like it

plus cash wouldn’t be a bad deal

He was injured for most of this season but I'll happily take this if his injury record throughout his career is good . He can play left back and cb

It will then be a good deal. We need a CB so he will play with Laporte. Then we sign Coman or Bailey

Plus cash then we have a deal

It would be a surprise if Hernandez was included in the deal, especially considering Sane’s valuation has been lowered due to the fact he has one year left on his contract.
City could, however, do with another left-back with manager Pep Guardiola having rotated between Benjamin Mendy, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Angelino this season.
With Hernandez also able to play centre-back, his flexibility would also be an attribute which Guardiola is likely to be a fan of.
It does seem unlikely that Bayern would even consider including such a valuable player as a makeweight in a deal for Sane, but we shall have to wait and see.
