Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero looks to be stepping up his recovery from a knee injury as he has been pictured back training with a ball.
It is hoped that the 32-year-old will be back fully fit after the international break and supporters on Twitter think his return could not come at a better time for the team:

Good news for us. I would have been happier if all others fail to get national duties. We need to compete for trophies this season.

It certainly hasn’t been ideal playing Raheem Sterling up front in recent games, and there is no doubt that City could do with Aguero in order to put away some of the chances they are creating.
Whether he’ll be ready to start against Arsenal later this month, it does seem unlikely but, with Gabriel Jesus also said to be closing in on a return from a muscular problem, it will be hoped that at least one of the strikers will be ready to face the Gunners at the Etihad on Saturday week.
